The person whom I love the most ??? Its really a tough question for me to answer..Its not about my best friend,its not about my boy friend,its not about my would be life partner,its not about my family...Beyond that its all about few best personalities whom I have met in the journey of my life...I love them,love the way they are..I imitate them the most...They are very very special for me.I really wonder the god gift qualities they have, the uniqueness,the honesty, the dedication, the passion they carry to achieve the goal to the fullest way ...They are really my idols ...Few best personalities from my motherland Odisha ...This is really a challenging attempt for me to tell about eight big big personalities in a small blog page..Its really difficult whom to start ,whom to end .I will rank them according to their age ..
Prativa Rai :
She is the sweetest personality of Odisha .The best Odiya novel writer of past four decades whom I love the most. Winner of prestigious Central Sahitya Academy Award ,First women Moorti Devi award , Baratiya Jnanpitha Award ,Odhisha Sahitya Academi Award,Sarala Award she gifted us eighteen novel, seventeen collection of short stories,one travelogue etc…She was a teacher, professor and an active member of Odisha Public Service Commision (OPSC).
I fall in love with her writing when I was in class 5th.Each year in summer vaction after completion of my exam my favorite hobby was to read the best novel of Dr. Ray “Yajnaseni “.I have read it uncountable times. Intially it was very difficult for me to diagest.Gradually I love it by heart. Each times it gives me a new pleasure .After that my major task was to find out Dr.Rai “s each and every novel and short stories.Not only Yajnaseni but also I love all the eighteen novel of Prativa Rai (Barsha Basanta Baishakha,Punyatoya, Ashabari, Nilatrishna, Shilapadma etc) have read it more than eighteen times.There is no word to express for me how uniquely she presented all the novels to touch the heart of the reader.
I love whatever she writes it may be a novel, a short story, a column. I remember I used to keep the paper cutting of all her columns from newspaper during my school and college days.
Prativa Rai is not a name for us…She is the biggest asset for all odhiya .Her contribution for the growth of odhiya literature is really remarkable. She is responsible writer of our times who loves to raise her voice for women empowerment .Hats off to the effort of Dr. Prativa Rai as the best novelist of Odisha.The most interesting part for me she is staying just the opposite site of my home in the same colony Gajapati nagar ,Bhubaneswar in a her dream home “Akhayaika”…
Sadashiv Mishra :
The man whom I respect the most ,whom I care ,whom I love he is my great legendary teacher Mr. Sadashiv Mishra.Though he taught me very short span of time just 3 yrs but I worship him in my heart life time.The best teacher ,the best mentor ,the best personality I found in my life.He is not a celebrity ..He is just a simple sankrit teacher in a government high school in the small holiest city in Puri but the entire city knows him very thoroughly .He creates legendary image in the heart of students forever. He makes the subject more interesting than the actual one. He gives the non erasable in-depth knowledge to students.
He loves me somuch like his own daughter .He is a moral booster for me.I won more than 100 prizes in my school days in various debate,essay competition due to his blessings… No one can reach the height he reaches to acquire the knowledge of oriya literature and Sanskrit literature. Not only me all the students like the way he is,the way he teaches,the way he cares,the way he behaves...The great believer of God Sadashiv sir is really a precious teacher for me till my last breath.
Time passes but memory never dies.I always want to go back to my school days and again will become an obedient and loveable student of Sadashiv Sir’s class… His blessings, his smile, his knowledge, his footprint is more than enough for us..Really felt very proud being a students of such a legendary personality.
Suresh Chandra Mohapatra:
He is hardworking ,sincere,energetic Odisha cadre IAS officer of 1986 batch.He loves to create history by his trade mark style of administration. Suresh Mohapatra ,the name is enough for all odhiya .He gave his maximum during his tenure of district magistrate (Collector ) of various district( puri,bhadrak etc). He came to the lime light for his remarkable contribution as the chief administrator of Jagannath temple ,GRIDCO and OMFED.
He puts his more than cent percent effort and works hard for the development of overall society and especially for downtrodden. He is real icon of all youngsters.I saw him many times in my life in various social function and inspired very much by his catchy personality.
I used to love to listen radio due to him,I used to get up early in the morning due to him …Those were happyyyy days old days..From class 7 to till +3,1st yr I really loved to get up before 7.25 am due to my heartthrob radio anchor Mrityunjoy Samal and his nicest program “Pravat Parikrama” …7.25 am to 7.40 am just 15 mintues duration: the the program,the tone which gave lots of energy to the viewer to design a perfect day.He discussed random social issues,gave his valuable thought and created a room in the heart of viewer for ever.His style of anchoring and presentation gave him somuch awards and recognition in district and state level. Those who were the true lover of Samal Sir can’t forget him through out their lives.
I love his personality, his skill, his dedication,his voice…The age of happiness is very shorter.He transferred from Cuttack radio station to another city which is hardest punishment for all Samal Sir and Pravat Parikrama lover.I never ever tried to listen radio after his transfer.I don’t know where he is right now but I know wherever he will go he will entertain his viewer to the fullest by his glorious deed. Really miss Samal Sir somuch in my life…
Malaya Mishra :
Ya he is a celebrity right now…The most busiest ,demanding, number one music director of Odisha .He creates music not magic. He is a musician not a magician but his lakhs of fans believe he creates magic in the world of music.He is non other than the bestest music Director of Odisha Mr. Malaya Mishra.
He quitted his electrical enginnering job due the passion of music.The most educated director of Odiya Industry Mr Mishra plays a top music director role in the last two decades of olywood industry. He gave directon of few movies also .
Fortunately he is my uncle…I remember those days when I was in class 3 Kaka helped me to prepare for a state level debate competition where I won the 1st prize…He is the same person whom I love the most..Loving, caring and the most dedicative heart my dearest “ Malaya Kaka “ . I love all the songs directed by him…
I can’t forget the way he motivates me to achieve goals and the dedication we have to put for every work to add some glory in our life…
